The year 2009  will best be remembered for the the credit crunch.

Cost cutting, giving and receiving best value, business restructuring by holding less stock, reducing the workforce are amongst many other things which businesses have had to look at hard.

Doom and gloom - not really. Straight talking - YES

The small business owner  is best placed to take advantage in this climate - They can respond much quicker to change and can offer that personal touch to their customers.  In this climate of lower margins, controlling your costs is paramount. Yes, you do have to have a product or service that sells and you do have to ensure prompt payment but its the bits in between which determines whether you can deliver whilst still maintaining a healthy profit.

The way we do business is rapidly changing so we now have to be more foreword thinking than ever before. Letting people know about you can be expensive and it is not hard to be sure that your advertising campaign has been cost effective until its too late.

I get sick of the numerous daily phone calls asking me if I could do with the extra business. Advertise with us and we can direct lots of new business to you they say. I do,nt think so. What do they know about my business? 

Your probably now thinking,  but you know nothing about my business.
